Wir haben auf den folgenden Seiten mit Kreativität und Humor Orte und Situationen erschaffen, die als Impuls für neue und auf den ersten Blick unmögliche Ideen dienen. Seit 1980 konstruieren und fertigen wir Spiel- und Sportplatzgeräte der Extraklasse. Dabei stehen wir immer wieder vor der Herausforderung, unsere Geräte in Funktion und Design an aktuelle Möglichkeiten und Anforderungen anzupassen. Neben der Maximierung des Spielwerts und der Sicherheit liegt der Fokus unserer Überlegungen auf dem Einsatz nachhaltiger Materialien und deren regionaler Beschaffung. Es ist uns täglich eine Freude, Spielorte zu kreieren und weiterzuentwickeln. Vielleicht können wir demnächst gemeinsam den Grundstein für die Gestaltung eines neuen Spielorts legen? WWW.SMB.BERLIN | 05 ARTEFAKTE ARTEFACTS Als die Studentengruppe um Professor Xin das alte, in einer antiken Statue verborgene Pergament entziffert hatte, war klar: Die antike Kultstätte in der Sanxingdui-Region barg ein Geheimnis. Die Archäologiestudenten machten sich auf den Weg und entdeckten tief im Dschungel verborgen den Eingang zur beschriebenen Höhle. Die Bronzefunde, die sie in der Höhle nach kurzer Suche im angesammelten Wasser entdeckten, überraschten selbst Professor Xin, der im Laufe der Jahrzehnte schon viel gesehen hatte. When Professor Xin‘s group of students deciphered an ancient parchment hidden in an ancient statue, it became clear that an ancient cult site in the Sanxingdui area was hiding a secret. The archaeology students set out and discovered the entrance to the described cave hidden deep in the jungle. The bronze objects they discovered in the cave after a brief search in the accumulated water surprised even Professor Xin, who had seen a lot over many decades.

WWW.SMB.BERLIN | 23 AUSSTELLUNGSWÜRDIG EXHIBITION WORTHY Für gewöhnlich wird in der Neuen Nationalgalerie die Kunst des 20. und 21. Jahrhunderts ausgestellt. Doch für Professor Xin ist schnell klar: Die Funde aus der frühen Shu-Kultur der Shang- und Zhou-Zeit (2.800 – 800 v. Chr.) sind so bedeutsam, dass sie einer breiten Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht werden sollen. Seine Idee, sie als moderne Spiel- und Sportgeräte zu interpretieren, stößt bei den Experten von smb sofort auf Begeisterung. Gemeinsam schlagen sie mit der Ausstellung „Ancient meets modern“ eine Brücke von den antiken Funden zur Kunst des 21. Jahrhunderts. Sie entpuppt sich schon bald als Publikumsmagnet. Usually, the New National Gallery exhibits art from the 20th and 21st centuries. WWW.SMB.BERLIN | 47 MARSMISSON MARS MISSION Ohne regelmäßiges Bewegungstraining würden Astronauten nach ihrer Rückkehr vom Mars kaum noch vom Stuhl aufstehen können. Die NASA setzt deshalb erstmals im All eine Adventure Park Kombination von smb ein, um ihre Weltraumfahrer fit zu halten. Womit niemand gerechnet hat: Die Vielseitigkeit der Anlage verführt sogar die Marsianer zur sportlichen Betätigung. Ein unerwartetes Abenteuer für alle Beteiligten! But no problem, Houston! B-Boy Toni P. hat auch im All seinen Ghettoblaster und ein cooles „Old-School-Tape“ dabei: „Let the battle begin!“. Without regular exercise, astronauts would hardly be able to get up from their chairs after returning to Earth from Mars. NASA is there- fore using an Adventure Park combination from smb for the first time in space to keep its space travellers fit. What no one expected was the facility‘s versatility even attracts Martians to sports activities. An unexpected adventure for all involved! But no problem, Houston! B-Boy Toni P. has his boombox and a cool “old school tape” with him even in space: Let the battle begin!

WWW.SMB.BERLIN | 61 TRAUMFABRIK DREAM FACTORY Ein Breakdance-Battle zwischen Marsianern und NASA-Astronauten? Hollywood-Regisseur Steven Spaßberg ist von der Glaubwürdigkeit noch nicht überzeugt. Doch die täuschend echte Anmutung einer Mars-Szenerie ist der Traumfabrik auf jeden Fall gelungen. Und die Adventure Park Kombination liefert wie immer verlässlich ab. Die wirkliche Herausforderung: große, schlanke Schauspieler für die Alien-Kostüme finden... Happy End à la Hollywood: Der Dreh war ein voller Erfolg, die Crew hatte nach Drehschluss selbst noch jede Menge Spaß mit den Adventure-Elementen! A breakdance battle between Martians and NASA astronauts? Hollywood director Steven Spaßberg is not yet convinced of its credibility. However, the dream factory has definitely succeeded in creating the deceptively real impression of a Mars scene. Moreover, the Adventure Park combination delivers reliable, as always. The real challenge is finding tall and slim actors for the alien costumes. Happy End à la Hollywood. The movie shoot was a complete success, the crew had a lot of fun with the adventure elements after the final shoot itself!
